We Research Japanese Clinics.
So You Don't Walk In Blind.

ClinicJapan.net is an independent guide to cosmetic treatments in Japan. No clinic pays us to say nice things. No brand sponsors our content. We exist because this information didn't.

Japan Has World-Class Aesthetic Medicine. The English Information Is World-Class Terrible.

Japan has over 2,000 aesthetic clinics. Some of the most skilled injectors and surgeons in Asia. Prices 30–50% lower than the US. And yet, if you search for "Botox Japan" or "filler Tokyo" in English, you get almost nothing useful. Outdated blog posts. Clinic websites that only work in Japanese. Marketing disguised as advice.

We started ClinicJapan.net because we kept running into the same problem: foreigners flying to Japan for cosmetic treatments with no reliable information. They couldn't compare prices. They didn't know which brands were MHLW-approved. They didn't know that "¥4,000 Botox" and "¥30,000 Botox" use completely different products. They walked into clinics unable to communicate what they wanted.

So we built the guide we wished existed.

What Makes Us Different

🔍

Firsthand Research

We visit clinics, collect price lists, and verify information directly. Not scraped from other sites, not translated from Japanese marketing materials.

Honest Pricing

Every price range includes budget, mid-range, and premium tiers. We show hidden fees that clinics don't advertise. We explain why ¥8,000 filler and ¥110,000 filler aren't the same thing.

🚫

Zero Clinic Affiliations

No clinic pays us for placement or reviews. When we mention a clinic, it's because the data is publicly available, not because they're a sponsor.

Real Japanese Phrases

Every guide includes practical Japanese phrases you'll actually need at the clinic. Not textbook Japanese — the exact words that get you the right treatment at the right price.

Our editorial team is based in East Asia and regularly visits clinics across Tokyo, Osaka, and other major cities. We collect pricing data, observe consultation processes, and document the experience that foreigners actually have — not the one clinics market on their websites.

What We Do and Don't Do

We compare prices across clinic tiers with real yen figures and international comparisons.
We explain risks honestly, including complications that clinics prefer not to discuss upfront.
We include medical disclaimers on every guide. We are not doctors and don't pretend to be.
We cite sources — clinic websites, MHLW data, published research — and link to them directly.
We don't diagnose or recommend treatments. We provide the information you need to make your own decision with your doctor.
We don't accept payment for clinic reviews or prioritize any clinic in our guides based on sponsorship.
We don't guarantee outcomes. Every procedure carries risk. Our job is to make sure you know what those risks are before you book.
