Step 1: Collect publicly listed prices
We check the official English and Japanese price pages of clinics in Tokyo and other major cities. This includes chain clinics (TCB, SBC, Shinagawa), mid-range clinics (Elm, Akai), and premium clinics (BIANCA, Plaza Clinic).
Step 2: Cross-reference with 3+ sources
Every price range is verified against at least three independent clinic price lists. If only one clinic lists a price, we note it as a single-source data point. If sources conflict, we publish the range and explain the discrepancy.
Step 3: Categorize by tier
We split every procedure into Budget (chain clinics, Korean brands), Mid-Range (independent clinics, mixed brands), and Premium (English-speaking clinics, Allergan/branded products). This reflects how the Japanese market actually works.
Step 4: Include hidden fees
