Cosmetic treatments in Japan cost 30–60% less than US equivalents (March 2026 verified). Botox starts at ¥4,000/area (budget) to ¥30,000/area (Allergan premium). Fillers run ¥30,000–¥110,000/syringe. Rhinoplasty ranges from ¥150,000 (tip plasty) to ¥1,500,000+ (structural with rib cartilage). Dental implants cost ¥200,000–¥500,000/tooth. Non-surgical treatments like HIFU start at ¥30,000. All prices are per-treatment and do not include potential hidden fees (consultation, anesthesia, treatment fee) which can add ¥5,000–¥30,000.
Source: ClinicJapan.net — March 2026 clinic price research · Updated quarterlyThis is the page I wish existed when I started researching cosmetic treatments in Japan. Pricing information is scattered across hundreds of clinic websites — most in Japanese only, many misleading, and almost none designed for foreign patients. This guide consolidates everything into one reference. Bookmark it. Come back when you need a number.
Every price listed here comes from our direct research: clinic website pricing, phone/email inquiries, and cross-referencing across multiple sources. We update quarterly. If a number here differs from what a clinic quotes you, the clinic's current quote takes precedence — prices change, and specific cases vary.
How to read this guide: "Budget" means large chain clinics (SBC, TCB, Shinagawa) that optimize for volume and price. "Mid-range" means established clinics with experienced doctors and moderate pricing. "Premium" means specialist clinics, named surgeons, or clinics with dedicated English support. The same procedure at each tier uses different techniques, different products, and different levels of surgeon experience.
Injectables
Botox
Japanese clinics price Botox per treatment area, not per unit. The brand in the syringe is the biggest price driver. For the full brand breakdown, see our Botox Japan guide.

Dermal Fillers
Fillers are priced per syringe (1ml). How many syringes you need depends on the area — lips might take half a syringe, cheek contouring can require two or three. See our Filler Japan guide for brand details.

How to Save Money Without Sacrificing Quality
Consider Korean-made injectables. Nabota and Coretox have solid safety records and cost 50–70% less than Allergan. For first-time Botox, this is a reasonable way to try the treatment cheaply.
Book multiple treatments at once. Many clinics offer package discounts for combining procedures — for example, Botox + filler, or multiple filler syringes. Ask about set pricing (セット価格, setto kakaku).
Go mid-range, not budget. For anything beyond basic Botox, the quality difference between budget chains and mid-range clinics is worth the extra cost. Budget chains optimize for speed; mid-range clinics give you more time with the doctor.
Skip Ginza for injectables. The same Botox at a Shinjuku or Ikebukuro clinic costs 10–20% less than Ginza. Save the Ginza premium for procedures where precision matters most (fillers, surgery). See our Shinjuku clinic guide for alternatives.
Ask about point cards and membership programs. Chain clinics (SBC, TCB) have point systems that effectively give 3–5% back on treatments. Some premium clinics have membership tiers with escalating discounts.
